New Sacred Music for Parish Liturgies

14 choral compositions by 14 living Catholic composers

This project is a gift from composers of sacred music to choir directors and their singers throughout the Roman Catholic Church in the USA and beyond. Encouraged by the Benedict XVI Institute, we hope to demonstrate that there is beautiful and worthy liturgical music being written right now, by today’s composers, and we encourage anyone who obtains this folio to photocopy, distribute, and perform any or all of the pieces contained herein. On page 57 there is brief biography and contact information for each contributor; when you find a piece that you particularly like, visit that composer’s website to discover more wonderful music, and/or to commission a new work for a particular liturgical occasion. We hope you enjoy this folio of beauty “ever ancient, ever new” !
