The Home Enthronement initiative is one of many efforts of Project Guadalupe 2031, inspiring Catholic families to enthrone an image of Our Lady of Guadalupe and consecrate their homes to the Virgin Mary.
The Benedict XVI Institute has commissioned a new painting of Our Lady of Guadalupe by San Francisco artist Bernadette Carstensen, and a new Litany of Our Lady of Guadalupe by our poet-in-residence James Matthew Wilson (whom Dana Gioia calls “the future of Catholic letters in America”). These items, as well as an adaptation of the oldest known account of Our Lady’s appearance for reading as a small group and instructions on making the devotion, are put together in a beautiful kit.
Our ambitious goal? At least 100,000 home enthronements of Our Lady of Guadalupe in the next three years!
