Coming June 1-4, 2027
2027 marks the 100th anniversary of Pope Benedict XVI’s birth and the 5 year anniversary of his death. To honor his legacy, Archbishop Cordileone will hold a major liturgy summit at St. Patrick’s Seminary June 1-4, 2027. This liturgy summit will bring together major prelates who served with him, artists inspired by him, and scholars who learned from him.
The pinnacle of the event will be the world premiere celebration of a new Frank La Rocca Mass: A Requiem for Pope Benedict XVI.
The event will also mark the official launch of the Reverent Liturgy Project.
