Maggie Gallagher’s experience includes successfully founding two nonprofit organizations, The National Organization for Marriage and the Institute for Marriage and Public Policy. She was also a founding editor of two magazines: the online The National Pulse (which grew quickly under her leadership to 450,000 Facebook likes), and the Manhattan Institute’s quarterly journal of urban policy, The City Journal. She was a nationally syndicated columnist for 17 years, an editor and a columnist at National Review, and the author or co-author of four books, most recently Debating Same-Sex Marriage (Oxford University Press, 2012).

Kevin Kacvinsky is the founder of Mission By Design, a strategic consulting firm that has helped Catholic and classical schools, apostolates, and universities raise more than $350 million for their mission-driven work. One of the organizations that moved to the forefront of Kevin’s work during this period was the Benedict XVI Institute, working closely with the executive director to grow the Benedict XVI Institute from a $175,000 a year organization to a seven figure per year organization.

Bryant Conger brings sixteen years of frontline major gifts experience to the Benedict XVI Institute, having built his career at two of the most consequential growth stories in the American conservative movement: Young America’s Foundation and the Susan B. Anthony List.

At SBA List, Bryant served as Director of Fundraising and senior major gifts officer, helping transform the organization from a $5 million operation into the largest pro-life organization in the country — a transformation driven in large part by the high-net-worth donor relationships he cultivated and deepened over years of faithful stewardship.

Bryant’s philosophy of fundraising is simple: donors deserve to understand the real impact of their generosity. He approaches every relationship as an opportunity to share the joy of giving and to connect philanthropists with missions worthy of their investment.

A graduate of the University of Arizona, Bryant is a Rotarian and a proud child of God. He lives in Vancouver, Washington with his wife Michal and their three children.

Matt Uzdavinis serves as a Programs Associate for the Benedict XVI Institute, where he supports the Institute’s mission of renewing an authentic Catholic culture through reverent Liturgy and the arts. He previously worked in development for Ave Maria University and is a co-founder of the St. Robert Bellarmine Fund, a scholarship program dedicated to supporting students pursuing a faithful Catholic college education. He has also served as a Development Director for a nonprofit serving enlisted service members and military families.

Matt graduated from Ave Maria University, where he studied philosophy and theology, and he also holds a Master’s in Business Administration from Louisiana State University. His work and interests are rooted in the renewal of the Sacred Liturgy and Sacred Music in the life of the Church, topics on which he has written and been published in various Catholic outlets. He lives in the Washington DC area with his wife and daughter.

Spencer McIntosh spent a decade-long successful career at Paramount, beginning as Manager for Partner Strategy at Comedy Central, rising first to Senior Manager for Strategic Partnerships, where he led product marketing for distribution partners. His success in this position led him to a promotion as Senior Manager for Paramount Global’s Digital Partners Operations, leading the digital TV transactional video business for CBS/Showtime, overseeing the full deal lifecycle from network announcement to digital storefront launch. He also successfully launched Higher Word Orchestra, a nonprofit professional-quality orchestra featuring classical music on spiritual themes by great Catholic composers. 

Patrick Gallagher serves as the coordinator for Special Projects and Artist Relations for the Benedict XVI Institute. He has an MBA in business communications from the Carlson School of Communications at the University of Minnesota, and studied musical theater at NYU as an undergraduate. He worked in communications for White Box Advisers, a Minneapolis hedge fund, drafting op eds for the Wall Street Journal and the New York Times. He also served briefly as a reporter for the New York Times in Westchester County. For the Benedict XVI Institute, Patrick serves as the executive editor of Cantate! our newsletter by and for Catholic sacred musicians.

Jennifer Donelson-Nowicka is the William P. Mahrt Professor of Sacred Music at St. Patrick’s Seminary, the founder of the Catholic Institute of Sacred Music, and Vice President and Director of Publications of the Church Music Association of America. A renowned music educator, she teaches a practical course on how to start a Gregorian chant schola for pastors and music directors, with topics ranging from chant notation and vocal techniques to how to recruit singers, to how to make it affordable for the parish. She also hosts what she describes as a sacred music-nerd podcast, Square Notes.

Stephanie Callahan is the Project Manager for Project Guadalupe 2031. Stephanie has over 15+ years experience in finance, strategy, operations, and data and analytics. She started her career in the investment banking division of Goldman Sachs in New York, before moving over to private equity investing where she evaluated and executed new deal opportunities in the consumer, retail, business services, and retail healthcare industries. 

Since leaving the private equity industry, Stephanie has held various roles in corporate America, including as the CFO of a flavors manufacturing business with operations in California and Quebec, Canada. Stephanie holds a Bachelor’s degree in Economics from the University of Chicago and an MBA from Harvard Business School. She currently lives in the Dallas-Fort Worth area with her husband and children.

Amanda Telles is a prospect researcher with nearly a decade of experience supporting mission-driven organizations. She has worked alongside colleges, charter schools, religious institutions, policy organizations, and arts nonprofits, offering careful research and strategic insight that help organizations build meaningful, long-term partnerships. Her work is grounded in a thoughtful, relationship-centered approach to supporting an organization’s mission and community.

Nick Switzer is a Catholic husband and father from Detroit, Michigan. He is the founder and principal of Switzer Accounting, also based in Detroit, and provides bookkeeping and accounting services for BXVI. A lifelong Catholic, Nick experienced a profound deepening of his faith through the intercession of St. Thérèse and the guidance of a few local priests. He firmly believes in the necessity of offering to God reverent and beautiful liturgy, handed down through the Church’s tradition, and through that offering, the remission of our sins.
