The Home Enthronement initiative is one of many efforts of Project Guadalupe 2031, inspiring Catholic families to enthrone an image of Our Lady of Guadalupe and consecrate their homes to the Virgin Mary.
In 2022, Pope Francis called on all the Americas to spend 9 years preparing for the 500th anniversary of Our Lady’s appearance. As a response, Archbishop Cordileone is launching a major new initiative Project Guadalupe 2031, bringing new celebrations of Frank La Rocca’s Mass of the Americas to the Basilica of Our Lady of Guadalupe in Mexico City, to the National Shrine of Our Lady of Guadalupe in Wisconsin, as well as a major home enthronement of Our Lady of Guadalupe’s image, bringing more souls to Christ through devotion to His Mother, Our Lady of Guadalupe
